Greetings! btw, I figured out what the deal was with the blog template... because CS can allow multiple blogs on one installation, it has a seperate template system for the blog pages, so each user can personalize their own look. So I have to create a new template for the blog as well. sigh... more f-ing work, but I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end. Thanks for stopping by!

Actually, creating my own blog template was pretty easy. Since it inherited everything from the site RobK theme, I only had to change a few paths in my copy of the default theme. I still have to do some sizing and font tweaking, but overall the blog theme works now. Woot!
